About St. Moritz Bakery
St. Moritz has been a family owned and operated European bakery in Greenwich Connecticut since 1939. We offer breakfast pastries in the way of Danish, coffee cakes, muffins, scones and crescents.
For those interested in desserts, there is a large selection of pies, tarts, cakes, cookies and chocolate filling the shelves and display cases. On the savory side we make chicken or beef pot pies and six types of quiche. Everything is baked on premises using only fresh and natural ingredients such as butter, real cream and imported European chocolate.
The chefs at St. Moritz are well known for their talent in custom cake design and their ability to create a unique work of art specific to each individual customer's request. They have won the title of Best Bakery in Fairfield County sponsored by Greenwich Magazine as well as numerous other titles such as Best Chocolate Mousse and Best Sarah Bernhardts.
St. Moritz participates in many local fundraising and celebratory events regularly for organizations, institutions and businesses including the United Way, the Bruce Museum, Greenwich Magazine, Knights of Columbus, Greenwich Public and Private Schools, Outreach, Boys and Girls Club, Arch Street Teen Center, Retired Men's Association, among others.
We are fortunate to be located on the well known and reputable Greenwich Avenue, in Greenwich, Connecticut. The bakery is open seven days a week.

"I want to express my appreciation on behalf of Wood Memorial Library & Museum in South Windsor, CT, for your very generous Gingerbread House donation to our Gingerbread Festival. We believe the Festival is the largest of its kind in New England, and perhaps beyond. With 150 masterful creations on display, nearly 6000 visitors came to savor the aromas and enjoy the masterpieces. As in past years, yours was a hit, and as the only truly edible house, it drew high bids and was won by the same bidder for three years running. It\'s become part of their family tradition. Our gratitude to you for your support on this very important fundraiser for Wood Memorial."
